Sámuel Szentannai Secondary Grammar School, 
Technical School and Student Hostel, Karcag, Hungary

Our school is named after Sámuel Szentannai who used to be the headmaster of the school from 1912 to 1933. He did a lot to save the school and worked a lot to improve the agriculture of the land and the area.

In our school there are almost 500 students. In secondary technical school classes students can learn to be agricultural mechanics while other students specialize in environmental protection or information technology. Our newest training trains workers for the food industry. In grammar school classes our students can specialize in English or German languages. We have another type of grammar school class where students learn law enforcement. Those students choose this class who want to become policemen or policewomen later.

The school is located in a really nice environment in the suburbs of Karcag with a lot of land where crops are grown and the school also has a lot of fruit trees. We also have a nice park which makes our school a really peaceful and friendly place and many buildings with different classrooms and workshops on the area. The newest school building was built in 2010. Last but not least, we have a brand new vocational training building where students can make pasta, oil, jam, juice and pálinka from the next school year.
