Grammar school IN TISNOV, 
THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Grammar School Tišnov, Na Hrádku 20 is a high school in the Czech Republic, that provides complete secondary education.  It aims to prepare students for university education. Tišnov is a town with 8500 inhabitants. It lies 25 km northwest of the South Moravian metropolis of Brno. 

The principal aim of our school is to provide complete secondary education finished with final exams and to prepare students for all types of universities. We prefer that type of orientation, because specialized high schools are in Brno, where they have better conditions (bigger attraction zone). We have four- year study programme with two classes and eight-year study programme with one class in each grade. Our school has around 470 students and 41 teachers. Altogether we have 53 employees, including 7 administrative employees and 5 workers at the school canteen.

We try to enhance the school environment. In recent years we have had several architectural realizations, which significantly contributed to better conditions for students, teachers and employees.
